sl@0: systems.  Typically, files from this directory are used to compile
sl@0: Tcl when a system doesn't contain the corresponding files or when
sl@0: they are known to be incorrect.  When the whole world becomes POSIX-
sl@0: compliant this directory should be unnecessary.
