Fixed Issue 387. The new implementation does not try to start a ring 0 driver that already exists, but could not be opened. It tries to delete the driver and install it new. The driver is now stored temporarily in the application folder. The driver is not correctly removed on system shutdown.

Added a few checks and delays to the driver loading code to increase the chance of loading the driver.

Changed a few context menu items to display a radio option style. Added additional information from the SMBIOS to the report.

Added a RAM sensor for used memory.

Fixed an error where loading config files from previous versions would crash the application.

Updated the version.

Added temperature offset parameters to all HDD temperature sensors. Fixed issue 271.

Added a new icon for RAM hardware.

Changed the RAM implementation (removed Microsoft.VisualBasic dependency which is not implemented in Mono) and added code to prevent RAM hardware from loading on Linux.

Added a missing default case in the mainboard specific configuration selection. The missing default case prevented sensor data from getting displayed on unknown Asus mainboards with NCT6779D super I/O.

Changed the system tray icon font scaling to adapt to the size of the tray icon in pixels, because on Windows 7 the tray icon scales with the system font size, while on Windows XP the tray icons are always 16 pixels large.

Improved the data compression for storing the recorded sensor values in the config file.

Added the hard drive firmware version to the report. This could be important if the SMART attribute layout changes with firmware versions on some drives.

Modified and extended version of the patch v4 by Roland Reinl (see Issue 256). Main differences to the original patch: DeviceIoControl refactorings removed, SmartAttribute is now descriptive only and does not hold any state, report is written as one 80 columns table, sensors are created only for meaningful values and without duplicates (remaining life, temperatures, host writes and reads). Also the current implementation should really preserve all the functionality of the old system. Additionally there is now a simple SMART devices emulation class (DebugSmart) that can be used in place of WindowsSmart for testing with reported data.

Changed the maximum buffer size for double buffering of controls that isn't disposed after each draw call to the size of the screen. This should reduce the memory allocation and disposing on each sensor update. Also page faults are no longer increasing with this change.

Add a text (Open Hardware Monitor) to the main system tray icon to simplify identification.

Removed the bitmap.GetHbitmap call for every redraw of the gadget. This should reduce dynamic memory allocation and freeing and removes some of the page faults increasing.

Added initial support for AMD family 12h and 15h CPUs.

Added support for saving and restoring the sensor history for the last 24h. The sensor history is now saved in a reduced format (duplicate values are removed, gaps are marked with a NAN sensor value.

Fixed a problem preventing the plot form getting closed correctly. This did prevent the application from terminating when asked to exit by the operating system (for example at shutdown).

Added support for the Fintek F71889AD super I/O chip. Extended the identification list of mainboard manufacturers.

Added an option to show the plot in a separate window or on the right of the tree-view.

Added a mainboard specific configuration for the Gigabyte H67A-UD3H-B3 mainboard and fixed a few issues in the about box.

Improved the selection dragging on the tree view. The selection moves now only when the dragging starts on the tree view. With the old implementation, double-clicking the gadget would change the selection, because the mouse is still pressed when the main window is shown.

Added some GUI improvements: Better handling of the row selection, minimal row spacing of 18 pixel (to get nice dotted lines) and 3 decimal digits for voltages. Also changed the tree view font rendering to get better quality without ClearType.

Fixed the ATI GPU fan control. The settings now restore correctly to default settings (previously the "manual mode" was kept on some systems).

Fixed the bus and core clock reading on AMD family 10h model Ah CPUs. The new "Core Performance Boost" feature of these CPUs resulted in very low accuracy of the bus speed (and as a consequence also an inaccurate TSC multiplier). This fixed Issue 205.
